I came to Jackson, Wyoming in 1980 with an empty French easel - empty because I wasn’t sure what to put inside. With some good advice from John Clymer and Conrad Schwiering, I embarked on the struggle to create competent paintings from nature.
My focus has been the current and historical western lifestyle, which I also live, riding for many years with the ‘real deal’ cowboys of western Wyoming.
