Jeremy Winborg
Jeremy Winborg is an American artist recognized for his powerful figurative paintings that capture Native American subjects with a unique blend of realism and abstraction. Growing up in Utah, Jeremy was immersed in the world of art from a young age, working alongside his father, a professional illustrator. That early influence shaped a lifelong passion for painting.
His work is characterized by historically accurate portrayals of Native American figures, adorned in traditional clothing, set against bold, textured backgrounds created with expressive brush and palette knife techniques. “I want my art to preserve a piece of history and connect with viewers emotionally,” says Winborg. “The figure pulls you in, but the brushwork and texture are what make you stay.”
Winborg’s career continues to gain momentum, with a new auction record set in 2025. He lives in Cache Valley, Utah, with his wife Danielle and their five children, where he paints full time.
