Tucked away high in the San Juan mountains of Colorado, is Alta Lakes. I attempted these lakes the day before but got driven away by rain, hail, and snow. I went back the next morning, and the clouds were just clearing as I got to the lake and found this dramatic setting. I purposely cropped off the top of the mountains to let your imagination fill in what looms above.
Over one hundred volunteers staff the Coors Art Gallery during the Stock Show and special events such as the Red Carpet Reception. Volunteers come from across the front range, drawn by their love for the art show as well as their dedication to raising funds for the National Western Scholarship Trust, to which the Coors Western Art Exhibit & Sale is the largest contributor.
