‘Rose of Cimarron’ is a variable edition of 4 handprints. Technically, a linocut with chine colle and hand coloring. What makes this appealing is the variability in the chine colle roses in the print. Each rose is cut from hand printed papers and therefore may vary slightly in design and colors.
Hand colored banner at the base with watercolor. Each print is printed on BFK archival paper.
Over one hundred volunteers staff the Coors Art Gallery during the Stock Show and special events such as the Red Carpet Reception. Volunteers come from across the front range, drawn by their love for the art show as well as their dedication to raising funds for the National Western Scholarship Trust, to which the Coors Western Art Exhibit & Sale is the largest contributor.
