The Last Call

This image was a spur-of-the-moment creation with a cowboy friend I trust with my life—both literally and figuratively. One of the greatest parts of my work is the time I get to spend with incredible people. On set, I make a conscious effort to foster a collaborative environment, especially when crafting the main shot. Everyone involved knows their ideas—good or bad—are welcome.

The people I work with are the real deal, and their input is invaluable in shaping the images we create. This particular shot happened in between setups when my good friend @rasredwine casually said, “Hey, what if I act like I’m going to shoot you?” Caught off guard but intrigued, I let him run with it—and minutes later, The Last Call was born. It was an epic day with even better people.
