O Precious Thought captures the immensity of the western sky stretching endlessly above the horizon. With bold shapes and a contemporary, design-forward aesthetic, the painting distills the landscape into its essential rhythms of land, light, and sky. The work stands as a modern expression of the American Westâ??timeless yet freshâ??reflecting both the grandeur of open space and the quiet meditation it invites.
Over one hundred volunteers staff the Coors Art Gallery during the Stock Show and special events such as the Red Carpet Reception. Volunteers come from across the front range, drawn by their love for the art show as well as their dedication to raising funds for the National Western Scholarship Trust, to which the Coors Western Art Exhibit & Sale is the largest contributor.
