Wyoming based contemporary western artist, Alexandra Hansen, is known for her stylized vintage patina oil paintings. She grew up on a ranch in South Dakota and later went on to rodeo for, and study art at Oklahoma State University. She left art school and became a cereal entrepreneur starting and selling small businesses. It would be almost 5 years before she would pick up a paint brush and remember her true passion in life creating nostalgic western artwork with pops of color to illustrate her hope for a well lived life.
We thank our proud Sponsors & Partners in support for the National Western Scholarship Trust
Over one hundred volunteers staff the Coors Art Gallery during the Stock Show and special events such as the Red Carpet Reception. Volunteers come from across the front range, drawn by their love for the art show as well as their dedication to raising funds for the National Western Scholarship Trust, to which the Coors Western Art Exhibit & Sale is the largest contributor.
