A self taught painter growing up on the edge of the Berkshire Mountains in Monson Massachusetts, Sean was surrounded by the beauty and history of this great country.  This is where the foundation of his work began.  It was while wondering the woods one day that Sean came upon some very large rock formations.  On these boulders were carvings from the native people that inhabited the area long ago.  The people that left these carvings struck a chord that has never left him.  The history of Native Americans, the western frontier as well as our modern day interpretations of the west
